UPDATED
Since the Election in May of 2007 and the beginning of Fall's semester in that same year, the SCFA Executive Board experienced some major changes. While you can still access the full Executive Board list and contact information on the "SCFA Executive Board" page (click here to go there), we wanted to give you a brief how-we-got-here-from-there primer.
Board Members Elected in May, 2007:
After the election, the Board made an appointment to fill the unexpired term of retired full-time faculty Board Member Rich Alman:
During the summer, Shaunda Crane resigned due to other commitments; at the same time, part-time faculty member Jason Roberts was hired for a full-time position, thus making him ineligible for the Vice Presidency. This resulted in the appointment of two new positions:
Shortly thereafter, President David Kenyon resigned, which resulted in the following appointment:
This necessitated the appointment of a full-time faculty member to serve the remainder of Jane's term:
During this same period, Chief Negotiator Patt McDermid announced that he would be spending the Fall semester in London, overseeing the Study Abroad program. Rather than be forced into hurriedly appointing a new Chief Negotiator, the Board made the decision to utilize a team approach; thus, the following persons were asked to serve on the Negotiating Team:
